First responders from all over Ketchikan gathered Saturday, June 3, 2017, for a friendly chili cook off at the downtown Ketchikan fire station. All proceeds from the event will go to charity.
More than 8 inches of rain in two days sent water surging down the Ketchikan Creek on Jan. 21, 2015. Multiple buildings flooded to some degree and boardwalks and bridges along the creek were temporarily closed until waters receded.
