Hey, I’m Taylor Balkom, a photojournalist from Baton Rouge, La., currently based in Portland, Oregon and working for The Columbian across the river in Vancouver, Washington.
I’ve followed my passion for visual journalism since 2011, and it has taken me to corners of the country I never would have seen otherwise. It is an immense privilege to be able to tell the stories of the people I’ve met in my journey.
